Want to create more realistic animation but not sure how to? Well, here are some tips on how to make your animations more lifelike:

1. Add Depth
Learn how to create the illusion of depth by replicating the lighting of objects in real life and placing layers in different planes.

2. Copy Yourself
There are numerous references all around you, including yourself. So, while animating, use a mirror or record your movements on video to help improve your characters' ambitions.

3. Observe Your Surroundings
Studying movement takes time and research. Observe how things move around you, including minute details such as how birds preen their feathers or people's subtle mannerisms.

4. Timing
Make sure you balance the number of frames your character moves from point A to point B.

5. Proper Spacing
Besides timing, spacing can be used to enhance the realism of your animations. So keep the fundamentals in mind and plan your elements' placement accordingly.
